The Big Idea
We started an affordable big mountain summer ski camp at Beartooth Basin on June 1st of 2021. We host 4 day sessions in which we focus on Safety, Fun, and Progression, in that order. Our goal is to provide young athletes with the resources they need to continue to progress in Big Mountain Skiing this summer.
About the Coaches
Jack Feick (25) grew up in Lake Tahoe California, he skied and competed for the Squaw Big Mountain Team for 3 Years before becoming a coach for that same team. He coached at Squaw Big Mountain for two years with an age group of 10-14 year olds. Since then he has moved to Bozeman, MT. He studies Film at MSU and Ski Instructs at the Yellowstone Club in the Winter and will be a large part of each of the 4 Sessions we will be hosting this Summer.

Wyatt Smith (25) was raised in Sun Valley. He grew up ski racing and competed on a national level. After retiring from that pursuit and moving to Bozeman, MT for college at MSU. He fell in love with freeride, big mountain, and backcountry skiing. He currently competes on the FWQ tour and spends his time split between pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, working for a local architecture firm, and skiing as much as he possibly can. He has coached for the past 5 summers at Mt. Hood in Oregon for summer ski camps for all ages.

We will do our absolute best to maintain the safety of your child, while still teaching them the skills they need to succeed at Big Mountain Skiing. Beartooth Basin is a summer only resort that is fully staffed with an expert crew of ski-patrol that, if necessary, we will take full advantage of.
